What are the Prophetic habits of eating? Shaykh Irshaad Sedick details three qualities of the nutritional habits of Allah’s Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him):
1) eating less and what it means, 2) eating better – more wholesome foods, and 3) in a state of remembrance of God (dhikr). He explains that, in addition to the physical and emotional benefits, connecting to these Prophetic habits can lead to a state of mindfulness of God, drawing us closer to Him and Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
