Prophetic Supplication for Storms
Prophetic Supplication for Storms
Ai’sha (Allah be pleased with her) relates that the Prophet Muhammad (Allah bless him and give him peace) used to make the following supplication when there was stormy weather:
Allahumma inni as’aluka khayraha
wa khayra ma fiha
wa khayra ma ursilat bihi
wa a`udhu bika min sharriha
wa sharri ma fiha
wa sharri ma ursilat bihi.
“O Allah, I ask You for the best of it
and the best of what is within it
and the best of what it has come with.
And I seek refuge in You from the worst of it
and the worst of what is within it
and the worst of what it has come with.”
