Can a Company Accept a Voluntary Gesture from a Client?
Shafi'i Fiqh
Answered by Shaykh Irshaad Sedick
Question
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful and Compassionate.
May Allah alleviate our difficulties and guide us to that which is pleasing to Him. Amin.
According to Sacred Law, the client is not responsible for the cost of the drill, but the company did not hold the client accountable. The client made the offer voluntarily, so there is no issue with accepting the gesture, and Allah knows best. [Nawawi, Majmu‘]
I pray this is of benefit and that Allah guides us all.
