Shafi'i Fiqh
Answered by Shaykh Irshaad Sedick
Question Summary
I fell asleep in an aroused state. Upon waking, I didn’t see any trace of discharge. After urinating, I saw some drops gushing out, which I suspect is urine since I didn’t feel desire. Should I perform a ceremonial bath (ghusl) in this case?
In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful and Compassionate
May Allah alleviate our difficulties and guide us to that which is pleasing to Him.
The purificatory bath is not obligatory:
I pray this is of benefit and that Allah guides us all.
