Can Impurity Be Removed by Rubbing with One’s Hand?
Question: Some pillows got impure by masturbation, and now after so many years, I think impurity almost would have been rubbed off naturally from them (even if present then very little and also dry). Now, only the stain of impurity would be present. Do those pillows need to be washed still? Here, the custom is not to wash them, and it is hard too. Also, there is some kind of clean cloth over pillow (like that of bed sheet on a mattress), so there is no direct contact even with those stains and little dry impurity.

Removing Impurity
It is enough to rub dry ejaculate on cloth using one’s hand. [Tahtawi; Gloss on Maraqi Al Falah]
This is because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered to rub dry ejaculate in order to achieve the purification of the affected area. [Daraqutni]
