Have I Spread Filth If I See Madhy Exiting after a Bath?

Question

I had madhy discharge, but I took a bath before the madhy stopped.  I checked after the bath, and still, madhy was coming out. In this situation, when the bath water from my body goes to my private part and drips to the floor, is this water filthy (najis)? What should I do in this situation? I don’t know if this is waswasa; please give me a clear and detailed answer from the view of Shafi’i madhhab.

Thank you for your question. I believe this is a case of baseless misgivings (waswasa), and I encourage you to ignore it completely.

Madhy

Please note that the exiting of madhy only requires one to make ablution (wudu) and purify the areas of clothing that were affected by it. One is not obliged to perform a ritual bath (ghusl).

I also doubt it is madhy (arousal discharge), and I suspect it is wady. This normal and healthy discharge occasionally exits from a man, sometimes upon lifting something heavy. I recommend you ignore it entirely and consider your floor and yourself ritually pure. Certainty is not lifted by doubt.
