Repeating Prayers in Places Where Wrong Has Been Done
Answered by Shaykh Abdul-Rahim Reasat
Question
Can I make up missed prayers in my uncle’s house where some people did black magic in the bathroom? Will they be valid?
Answer
I pray you are well.
Yes, your prayers in that house will be valid as long as the place you pray on is pure. You can assume that the carpet is pure if there’s no indication otherwise, or place a prayer mat down to pray on. (Shurunbulali, Maraqi al-Falah)
The Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said, “The prayer is light,” (Muslim) so, God-Willing, your praying there will have a positive effect on the house.

May Allah fill our moments with the remembrance of Him.
