Do I Have to Repeat the Prayer After Finding Out it was Performed After Expiry?
Answered by Mawlana Ilyas Patel
Question
Is my prayer valid if I, as a Shar’i excused (Ma’dhur) person, prayed outside the prayer time due to OCD causing a delay in wudu?
Answer
I pray you are well.
No, you will not have to repeat your prayer. It will now be classed as a missed (qada) prayer. You will not have to renew your wudu due to the expiry of the prayer time.
