Question Summary
Is it permissible for two tarawih prayers to be held simultaneously in the same Masjid if the congregants are all in agreeance?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful and Compassionate
It is permissible to have to separate congregations of Tarawih prayers in the same Masjid at the same time if the following considerations are upheld:
(1) The Masjid should hold one congregation for the ‘Isha prayer in which all congregants pray together.
(2) The 2 congregations of Tarawih are held in separate places in the Masjid such that one does not disturb the other. For example, one congregation on the ground floor and the second on another level.
