Will I Be Able to Speak to and Ask Allah About Things in Paradise?
Answered by Shaykh Abdullah Anik Misra
Question
I wish to ask Allah Almighty anything that ever crossed my mind, and I want to have a private discussion with Allah Almighty about anything in Paradise. What can I do for me to have this privilege?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful and Compassionate
Allah Most High tells us in the Qur’an that the dwellers of Paradise will have whatever they desire. Allah says:
“For them is whatever they will therein, and from Our side, there is even more.” [Quran, 50:35]
Hafiz Ibn Kathir mentions a report that “even more” here means the blessing of being able to see Allah Himself. [Ibn Kathir, Tafsir Al Qur’an Al Adhim]
So if you still have the desire to ask Allah Most High questions and speak with Him when you get to Paradise, according to the above, you will have that, if Allah wills. The question is whether you will still have those questions and that desire after you experience the bliss of Paradise itself and the reality of many things becomes known to you.
What remains till then is to carry on believing as you do and doing righteous works pleasing to Allah Most High.
