Can You Clear My Doubts about Allah and Muhammad’s Prophethood?
Answered by Ustadha Shazia Ahmad
Question
I have grown up practicing Islam and want to remain Muslim. However, I have suppressed doubts that affect my foundations of Islam. First, is there any solid proof of Muhammad’s prophethood? Also, as Allah is the only creator of these heavens and this earth, may there be other Gods for other realms outside the heavens and earth that Allah has specifically made? In other words, is it possible that Allah is One for His creation, but that there are other Gods for other creations?
Answer
Thank you for your question. May Allah Most High reward you for asking questions about your faith to relieve your doubts. I pray that the strength and the certainty of your faith shine and inspire others.
Please see this article about the proof of Muhammad’s Prophethood, (may Allah bless him and give him peace) and about the oneness of God (tawhid):

I strongly recommend that you take a course in ‘aqida from this website. It will answer any questions or doubts that may arise. Remember, it is obligatory for each Muslim to have a conviction about their Islam and not just inherit it as a belief from parents. May Allah give you all the best in this world and the next.
