What Should I Do When Urine Leaking Happens?

Question: Assalam alaykum

If I have wudu and urine leaks in my pants do I need to wash myself and change my clothes before I can pray again? Also, what do I do if urine leaks out in the middle of my prayer?

Answer: Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah,

Purity is a condition for the validity of the prayer, but a small amount of filth on your clothing or person is excusable. Small is defined as less than 4-5cm in diameter.

Generally, you should be reasonably confident that the urine drops have ceased before performing the ritual ablution (wudu). Ignore misgivings.
