What Prayer Should I Make Up after My Menstruation?

I pray this finds you in the best of states.

No, if a woman was menstruating until after the exit of Maghrib time and after the entry of the Isha time, she will only be required to pray the Isha prayer if the bleeding stops within the Isha time. [Birgivi, Zukhr al-Mutahilin]

The reason for this ruling is that for the full duration of the Maghrib prayer time, the woman was menstruating, and therefore it was forbidden (haram) for her to pray. And a prayer missed because of menstruation does not have to be made up. [Shurunbulali, Nur al-Idah]

The mother of the believers, Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, has said: “When we were affected by menstruation, we were told to make up fasts, and we were not ordered to make up prayers.” [Muslim]
