What Is the Ruling for the Traveler Moving around the Country for Fifteen Days?

I am traveling to London intending to be there for three weeks. However, I will not be there continuously for the whole period. Within the first week, I will travel to Leeds for a day trip, leave in the morning and return at night. Am I a traveller during my time I’m London?

Answer

No, you will be considered a resident during your stay in London. You’re deciding to stay there for more than fifteen days, so journeying to and intending to stay in a different place for less than that won’t change your status in London. [Shurunbulali, Maraqi al-Falah]
