Is the Purification Bath Required If a Husband Masturbates His Wife?
Hanafi Fiqh
Answered by Shaykh Abdullah Anik Misra
Question
Is it required to do ghusl for the wife if the husband uses his fingers to pleasure her? No actual intercourse took place.
Answer
In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful and Compassionate
Aside from actual coital intercourse, no other type of stimulation of the inner or outer vagina requires the purificatory bath until and unless it results in an orgasm. Therefore, if a husband pleasures his wife using his fingers alone, without orgasm resulting, then this will not require the purificatory bath [ghusl]. [Shurunbulali, Maraqi al-Falah]
