Is the Daughter of My Ex-wife with Her New Husband Considered Mahram?

Question
If I married a woman and divorced her and she married again and got a daughter, is this child considered mahram for me?
If not, when I marry her, will my ex-wife become my mahram because she is now my mother-in-law?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful and Compassionate
I pray you are well.
The daughter of your ex-wife – with whom you had a consummated marriage – is your mahram (unmarriageable kin), therefore you cannot marry her.
[Ibn ’Abidin, Radd al-Muhtar]
One’s wife’s daughter (from a previous marriage), granddaughter, and on down, etc., will become unlawful (permanently) if the marriage with her mother was consummated.
Allah (Most High) in the Quran:
“And (prohibited to you in marriage) are your wives’ mothers; your stepdaughters under your guardianship, born of your wives with whom you have had sexual intercourse. There is no prohibition if you have not cohabited.” [Quran, 4:22]
