Is Camel during not impure (Najis) as it was recommended by the Prophet in the Hadith of Bukhari?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful and Compassionate

I pray you are in good faith and health. Thank you for your question.

Camel urine is light filth (najis). It was recognized in Arab customs as having medicinal properties.

Camel Urine in The Hanafi School

The established view in the Hanafi school of Imam Abu Ḥanifa, Abu Yusuf regarding the urine of animals whose meat is permissible and halal is that it is light filth (najasa mukhaffafa).[Al-Ayni, Umdat al-Qari; Mawsili, Al-Ikhtiyar Li Talil al-Mukhtar]

Camel Urine as Medication

The incident of the people of ῾Urayna is that the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) knew through revelation that their cure lay in the drinking of camel urine. According to jurists, in the case where there is no halal alternative available, and a person is advised by doctors that the only cure for their illness is to consume camel urine, it is permissible to do so as a form of medication.
