Question: Assalam aleykum
Can I dye my hair during my monthly cycles?
Answer: assalamu alaykum
Menstruation is a natural process experienced by women. Apart from particular forms of sexual intimacy, namely intercourse and touching the region between navel and knee directly, a woman experiencing menstruation is not prohibited from going about with daily life as normal.
As dyeing the hair is considered permissible for women, it would be permitted for a woman to dye her hair whether menstruating or not. Menstruation, in other words, has no effect on this base ruling of permissibility.
