Tooth Caps and Fillings

Question: Is it permissible to put a ”cap” on your tooth (which is a type of covering)? This is not for beauty purposes.

Answer: In the name of Allah, Most Merciful.

Walaikum assalam wa rahmatullah,

Both tooth fillings and caps are permitted when there is a need or benefit for them.

And Allah alone gives success.
