Is Eyebrow Lamination Permissible?
Hanafi Fiqh
Answered by Mawlana Ilyas Patel
Question
Is eyebrow lamination permissible?
Answer
Eyebrow lamination would be permissible, with some conditions one should follow.
Eyebrow lamination is an often noninvasive and painless eyebrow procedure. It uses lifting cream and other products to straighten brow hair, change its direction, fill in gaps, and create fuller-looking brows.
As such, it would be permissible if one keeps the following conditions in mind:
- the cream should not create a barrier from water reaching the hair
- not to be done in a way to draw attention, so just a regular neat application without overdoing it
