Is It Permissible to Share Pictures That Portray Women Who Are Uncovered?

Question
I want to share my work with people on Linkedin to have more exposure, but the pictures of attended events are usually work group pictures with males and females.
Can I share those pictures? The females don’t wear hijab but aren’t seducing.
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful and Compassionate
It is permissible to share pictures that portray women who are uncovered as long as the following conditions are met:
- There is a need to post such a picture, or by not doing so, one will miss out on either worldly or religious good.
- The main focus/action depicted in the picture is not the uncovered women themselves.
- The picture is only shared to the extent of the necessity (in this case, only on Linkedin and the like, not on social media).
To The Extent Necessary
That said, such permission is due to necessity, and dispensations are given out only to the extent of the necessity. [Ibn Nujaym, al-Ashbah wa al-Naza’ir]
So, if you can crop out or blur out the women in the best picture.
