Answered by Shaykh Faraz Rabbani
Question
Is it allowed to work in an institution that cares for the elderly?
Working in institutions such as hospitals or elderly care homes, where one may need assistance washing elderly individuals, is highly meritorious. Allah has taught us that relieving others from hardships alleviates our rank in this life and the hereafter.
