Can One Who Publicizes (Mujahir) Their Sin Be Forgiven?

Question
I heard a hadith about mujahir; Allah will not forgive them. I was a mujahir; how can Allah forgive me? Is seeking repentance enough?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful and Compassionate
The Door of Repentance is Open
Although flaunting one’s sin is indeed a major sin, the door of repentance is open. No matter how heinous one’s sin is, Allah Most High will accept them if they sincerely repent.
Allah Most High says, “And Allah wants to accept your repentance…” [Quran, 04:27]
The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and give him peace) said, “The one who repents from a sin is like the one who has no sin.” [Tabarani; Ibn Maja; Bayhaqi]
Conditions of a Sincere Repentance
However, for one’s repentance to be accepted, one must meet the following conditions:
- To have sincere remorse for their sin.
- To desist from sin.
- To resolve, never to repeat the sin. [Nawawi, Riyad al-Salihin]
The One Who Flaunts Their Sins (Mujahir)
Thus by the above conditions, it is necessary for one who used to flaunt their sins to cease in doing so, be remorseful, and aim never to repeat.
If these conditions are met, there remains no doubt that Allah Most High will accept their repentance.
