Can Men Expect the Same Level of Beauty in Janna That Hoors and Women Do?

Answered by Shaykh Yusuf Weltch

Question

Women of this world and hoors will be extremely beautiful and have an abundance of jewelry in Janna. Is it possible for a man to be on that same level of beauty and to have that same level of jewelry (as it will be allowed for men there)?

Can I have such hopes?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful and Compassionate.

Allah Most High says, “(…) There will be whatever the souls desire and the eyes delight in. And you will be there forever. That is the Paradise which you will be awarded for what you used to do.” [Quran, 43:72]

Whatever normal desire one has, one can expect that in its most excellent form in Paradise. If you desire to wear great amounts of jewelry, Allah will grant it to you.

There are many descriptions of Paradise in the Quran and Prophetic narrations. Despite the vivid pictures they bring to mind, no description can ever truly describe what Allah Most High has in store for those who are granted Paradise.

Allah Most High says, “No soul can imagine what delights are kept in store for them as a reward for what they used to do.” [Quran, 32:17]

May Allah make us and you from the People of Paradise.

Hope this helps
