Do Women Have Fewer Rewards in Paradise than Men?

Question

I am a human with desires and it hurts me to see them being ignored. It saddens me that in paradise all men get their wishes but women don’t. All men get multiple wives in Paradise because that is what they want.

Women don’t want to share their husbands yet women have to comply. All I hear when it comes to women is that there is no jealousy, yet this answer is not satisfactory because men get what they want but women are simply mad not sad. What if a woman desires her husband to be hers alone in paradise?

I feel like all the hadiths and Quranic verses about getting what you wish are for men only. This makes me feel punished for my gender.

Thank you for your question.I am sorry that you feel punished for your gender, and your question is not silly. Many have asked this question and many have walked away with this understanding: “[…]Allah certainly knows and you do not know.” [Quran, 16:47]

I cannot tell you that your rewards will be the same as men’s because they will not be the same. I can tell you that will be overjoyed, peaceful, have no fear, and be with those that you love, by the grace of Allah. I pray that this is enough for you.
