Question

What should I do about thoughts that make me think that Allah will not accept my repentance from shirk?

Answer

I pray you are in good faith and health. Thank you for your question.

These are satanic whisperings and obtrusive thoughts. I would like you to work on yourself to ignore them and recite this prophetic dua in abundance, which is taken from the following hadith.

Abu Hurayra (Allah be pleased with him) reported that Abu Bakr Siddiq (Allah be pleased with him) said: “O Messenger of Allah, advise me with some words that I would say in the morning and evening: Say:

(O Allah, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, the world of the unseen and the martyrdom, the Lord and King of everything, I testify that there is no god but you. I seek refuge in you from the evil of myself and the evil of Satan and his shirk, and to commit evil on myself or drag him to a Muslim.) “Say these words in the morning and evening and when you lie on your bed. ”
