If One is Following the Hanafi School in Purification and Shafi’i for Everything Else, Would this Include Wudu and Ghusl?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful and Compassionate
If you are taking a dispensation of the Shaf’i school, it will obligate you to follow the rulings pertaining to wudu, ghusl, istinja, and purification, too, whenever you follow the dispensation.
The reason is that these two issues of purification and prayer are connected. So,
If you take a Shafi’i dispensation for prayer, it will obligate you to follow Shafi’i rulings pertaining to wudu, ghusl, istinja, and purification, too, whenever you follow the dispensation for the prayer.

Wiping the Ears
There are indeed only four integral actions (arkan) of wudu. Washing the mouth and nose and wiping the ears are confirmed sunna (sunna mu’akkada). Leaving a confirmed sunna does not affect the validity of wudu. See the link below.
