What Supplications Can You Suggest For Premature Menopause?
Answered by Mawlana Ilyas Patel
Question
I am a 34-year-old unmarried woman. I had my hormonal tests done, and the results indicated that I would have premature menopause. I am frustrated as I do not have any kids or husband. I know that Allah is the knower of everything, and no human nor scientific tests can with certainty show when one will have menopause. The Doctor said I might be in menopause when I am 37. I know only dua can change qadr, and only Allah knows when I will have my menopause. If you can assist in any duas that I can make to Allah and dhikr so that I get menopause when I reach the normal age of getting menopause, that is in my 50s, In sha Allah.
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful and Compassionate
I pray you are in good faith and health. Thank you for your question, and I have certainty and high hope that Allah Most High will keep you in good health, as everything is in His hands, Amin.
There is no specific dua or dhikr for this purpose. However, do the following:
- one of the best and most effective ways is to make dua from the depth of your heart, raising your hands sincerely and earnestly
- and make dua for others, so yours are accepted
- ask righteous people around you to make dua for you
I recommend the following dua, asking Allah Most High for well-being (afiya).
Ask Allah for Wellness in This Life and The Next
Ask Allah for general wellbeing (afiya) by keeping your tongue moist saying,
اللّہُمَّ اِنّی اَسئَلُک الْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ
‘Abbas (Allah be pleased with him) reported, I said, “O Messenger of Allah, teach me something to ask Allah Almighty.” The Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said, “Ask Allah for wellness.” I waited some days, then came and said, “O Messenger of Allah, teach me something to ask Allah.” The Prophet told me, “O ‘Abbas, O uncle of the Messenger of Allah, ask Allah for wellness in the world and the Hereafter.” [Tirmidhi]
Angels Supplicate for You as You do for Others
Abu Darda (Allah be pleased with him)reported: The Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) said, “No Muslim servant supplicates for his brother behind his back but that the angel says: And for you the same.” [Muslim]
