Not Fasting Due to a Chronic Condition Requiring Medication

Question: I’ve not fasted in Ramadan since i had an illness at the age of 12.  I’m 38 now and still on medication. The illness can become worse if i stop taking the medicine i.e 2 to 3 times a day.. I have tried keeping fast before, but every time i don’t eat my tablets for a few days, my condition becomes from bad to worse. My medication is for a lifetime. What would you suggest?
