How Should I Remove Filth From the Floor?
Hanafi Fiqh
Answered by Ustadh Tabraze Azam
Question: Assalam alaykum
I found urine on the floor around the toilet, I cleaned it by removing it with a tissue then pouring water over it and then absorbing it.
In terms of filth am I correct in ignoring possible spreading?
The bathroom floor dries bone dry when you wipe it, even with a tissue. Would dry wiping be valid or should I continue to wash it with water?
Answer: Wa alaikum assalam wa rahmatullah,
Surfaces which are non-porous may be wiped clean. And the duty with visible filth is to remove its traces.
Ignore misgivings.
