How Can the Flooring of a House Become Pure?

Question
I recently read that if an impurity dries off the ground and no sign of it is present, then the ground is pure. I was wondering if this ruling can be applied to flooring on the second floor of a house or the third floor, such as in the bedroom.

In the name of Allah, Most Compassionate, Most Merciful,
I pray this finds you in the best of states.
Yes, if the filth on the flooring of a house’s second or third floor dries and leaves no traces, then this flooring is deemed ritually pure. You can pray on it validly. [Tahtawi, Hashiya ‘Ala Maraqi al-Falah]
The reason for this ruling is that anything affected by the filth fixed on the ground is deemed pure after drying if no traces of filth are left. [Ibid.]
This is deduced from the words of the Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace be upon him: “Any ground that has dried is now pure.” [Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba]
