How can I handle written Quran on various material and how do I dispose it?

Touching Material with Quranic Verses

A person in a state of ritual impurity cannot touch a copy of the Quran. Similarly, when a ‘complete Quranic ayah’ is written on a separate material, like in your case, napkins, envelope, paper (jewelry, plates, cups, so forth, too).

As for notebooks, like you mentioned or a book of Quranic exegesis only if most of its content is not actual Quranic script, one can hold and touch the book but not the verses. However, precaution and respect is one not touch or hold without wudhu, when in a state of minor ritual impurity. As for one who is in a major ritual impurity, like a woman in menses, or when one is in this state due to marital relationship. One should not do so. This is closer to having respect for the words of Allah Most High.

And, as for touching the Quranic script, itself, in any book, exegetical or other it is not permissible. [Ala’uddin ‘Ibn ‘Abidin, Al-Hadiyyah al-Ala’iyyah; Al-Birgivi, Dhukhr al-Muta’ahhilin]

Would it be Sinful to Touch Directly or Indirectly?

 Yes it would be sinful, however in your case, it was your time of ignorance, so seek repentance and forgiveness for doing so.
