Question

Is CBD oil halal to use for medical purposes?

Answer

Thank you for your important question.

Given that CBD oil is pure and does not have the narcotic effects of THC, it is halal to use for medical purposes. (Bushra al Karim, Ba Ishn)

The proviso here would be that it is both legal in one’s country/state, and that its procurement does not aid and abet the illegal and sinful use of cannabis.

I pray this helps.
