What is the Reward of Praying Isha and Fajr at Mosque during Laylat Al Qadr?

Answered by Shaykh Abdul-Rahim Reasat

Question

If one prays Isha and fajr at the mosque during Laylat al Qadr, will it count as one worshipping all night multiplied by over 1000 months?

Answer

I pray you are well.

Yes, this would be the understanding that can be derived from the fact that the Night of Destiny is better than a thousand months, and the hadith “Whoever prays ‘isha in a group it is as though he has spent half the night and prayer, and whoever [then] prays fajr in a group it is as though he has spent the entire night in prayer.“ (Muslim)

One would be rewarded with having done this over a period greater than a thousand months.

May Allah grant you the best of both worlds.
